Madison Bland
Hello, my name is Maddie! I am a 3rd-year Ph.D. candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Princeton University. I am a member of the Safe Robotics Lab mentored by Assistant Professor Jaime Fernández Fisac.
I specialize in safe navigation and planning for aerial and underwater robots. My work leverages foundation models and reinforcement learning to reduce uncertainty and train safe robot policies. I am passionate about making robots safe to deploy in sensitive environments with large amounts of uncertainty.
I completed my undergraduate studies Electical Engineering in at The College of New Jersey where I was mentored by Associate Professor Seung-yun Kim.
